Funeral and Wake Arrangements
Dear Friends,
This message is to give details of Hannah’s funeral and wake for those wishing and able to attend.
Wednesday 7th September 2022 at 2.00pm
Westall Park Natural Burial Ground, Holberrow Green Worcestershire B96 6JY (click address to open in Google maps)
The funeral is outdoors, clothing and footwear should be appropriate for being in a Worcestershire meadow. If you think you may need to sit down, bring your own chair. Check the weather forecast and come prepared.
Parking at Westall Park is limited. We envisage that there will be too many cars if we do not have a plan in place, Westall encourage car sharing.
If you are willing to either give a lift, or be given one, please head to the wake venue first, (Rous Lench village hall) which is 5 miles South of Westall. We would suggest between 1:15 and 1:30pm at the latest, and either park there and jump in another car, or pick up some of the other guests to bring them to the Burial ground.
Please Park carefully in Rous Lench, however, the villagers are used to large amounts of cars for events at the village hall, and it is standard to park along Radford road and around the village green, there is also overflow parking on the cricket field which will be signposted.
If this is not possible for any reason please do not let it put you off attending, provided the majority of people participate in this system, or make earlier car sharing arrangements of their own, parking will not be an issue.
No bought flowers please, flowers from your own garden are welcome but no plastic wrapping.
Following the funeral service there is an invitation to gather at the Village Hall in Rous Lench WR11 4UN from 3.30pm onwards for the wake.
Sustainability was very important to Hannah so we are committed to minimum waste. Please bring your own cup or mug for a hot drink, there is a bar and light refreshments will be served.
